Young voices in ELT: a Brief Introduction

The Young Voice in ELT is an annual journal published by the M.Ed. 2nd year students of Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. The contemporary students of M.Ed. English firstly published it in 2000. Students of other batches have been giving regularity to this praiseable work.

Indeed, it is an academic journal. The main purpose of this journal is to encourage teachers-trainees to produce creative articles related to ELT. It includes articles from faculty members and students that have the wide coverage related to ELT. It gives chance to faculty members to share their experiences, Students to be confident and creative and others to have information about the University and ELT.

The recent volume of this journal is the fifth volume. This volume is a special one because it is dedicated to Professor Dr. Shishir Kumar Sthapit, the senior most professor of the department of English Education T.U. Kirtipur. This volume contains 21+335 pages. First 21 pages are related to Professor Dr. Shishir Kumar Sthapit. His brief introduction and different views from different scholars towards him are included there. A poem ‘My Heart My Guru’ composed by Mr Lal Bahadur Bohara is really beautiful in this section.
